## What We Going to learn today?
Before knowing anything i want to introduce myself to you.
Hello Guys this is GDR and welcome to my another
chaotic class.
Today we'll learn only about communication that what exactly is the communication?
In upcoming blogs/classes we'll see about the 7c and another rules and we'll cover all concept of business communication, professional writing, report writing, structure and presentation report and more.
## Alot?
Don't worry... We'll try to finish it in 12 to 13 lectures max to max everything. Why fear when GDR is here
## What is communication?
Studying can go on forever, guys, but bakaiti must never stop. So, let me tell you a story. 💀
Once upon a time, there was a guy named Harsh Khandani, who had a huge crush on a girl named Priyashi.
One day, Harsh told his friend Aman, who was basically a walking disaster with a drug problem, about his feelings for Priyashi.
Harsh said, “Bro, please go and tell her that I want to talk to her privately tomorrow in the library.”
And Aman, being the
very responsible messenger he was, went straight to Priyashi.
Aman: “Hey, Priyashi! Harsh wants to talk to you privately tomorrow in the library.”
Priyashi: “Who the hell is Harsh?”
Lawl, guys. LAWL. 💀
Anyway, Aman decided that simply delivering the message wasn't enough. He had to add some
premium-quality masala.
Aman: “Arre, arre! You know, that guy who sleeps all day behind you like a complete loser? The one our teacher is always scolding?”
Priyashi: “Ohhh, you mean that Horse-fire, useless fellow? Okay, fine. I'll meet him.”
BROOOO. HORSE-FIRE?! 😭🙏
Imagine having a crush on someone and finding out that your entire personality has been reduced to a nickname inspired by a horse.
Anyway, guys, let's get back to the topic.
Now, look carefully. Aman had one job: to deliver Harsh's message to Priyashi. And guess what?
He successfully delivered it.But the way he absolutely performed a post-mortem on Harsh's reputation along the way? That's a completely different story. 💀
He delivered the message, but he also added his own commentary, which could influence how Priyashi perceived Harsh.
So, what do we call this?COMMUNICATION.In simple words, communication is the process of sharing or exchanging information, ideas, thoughts, or feelings between two or more people.
And remember, guys, delivering a message doesn't automatically mean you've communicated effectively. The way you deliver it and how the receiver understands it matter too.
Because sometimes, the message reaches its destination, but the sender's reputation doesn't survive the journey. 😭
Exam Defination- Communication is the process of exchanging information, ideas, thoughts, and feelings between two or more people through verbal, non-verbal, written, or visual methods.
## What Is Business Communication?
As per our gens and social media influence, we’re not gonna jump straight into the topic. Nahhh, bro! 😭 We’ll continue with some interesting bakaitis first. So let’s gooooo! Maza aayega, hehehehe. 💀😂
To dekho, guys, we all know how productive we are at home. 😎 I mean, look at the hard work we’ve put in to become
Professional Content Consumers. This level of dedication doesn’t come overnight, bhai. 📈😭
We’ve spent YEARS mastering this art. Reels, YouTube, anime, random videos, scrolling for 3 hours straight without even realising it… BRO, WE’RE BUILT DIFFERENT. 🗿🔥
And in the middle of all this professional work, suddenly, we hear a familiar voice from another room:
Mummy: “AYEEEE GDRRR! STOP WATCHING THAT CARTOON AND JUST CLEAN YOUR ROOM!” 😡
And as a responsible, highly qualified professional, our immediate response is always:
“MUMMYYYYY, JUST 2 MINUTES!!!” 😭🙏
Two minutes? Haan bhai, bilkul. And then we look at the clock and realise that those two minutes somehow turned into two hours. 💀
Because, as we all know, a person who is truly dedicated to their work doesn't care about time, hunger, day, night, rain, or anything else. 🌚
We get SO deeply involved in our work that we forget everything around us.
Deadline? What deadline?Lunch? Never heard of it.Mummy calling? Background noise. 🎧😭
Of course, we eventually remember our responsibilities… usually when Mummy enters the room with a weapon of mass destruction commonly known as
THE CHAPPAL. 🩴💀
And then comes the realisation that every action has consequences.
But anyway, that's a different story. Let's not discuss my personal experiences here. Hehehehe. 🤡
Now, guys, in our personal lives, we can sometimes ignore things, take them lightly, or say, “Arre, ho jayega!” and move on with our lives.
BUT BUSINESS COMMUNICATION DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT. 🚨
In a professional environment, you can't just take everything lightly. You've got to take instructions, deadlines, and responsibilities seriously.
Imagine your boss comes to you and says:
Boss: “Hey, GDR! Fix the login issue on ReadXHub within the next 3 hours.”
Now, listen carefully, my fellow Professional Content Consumers. 👀
THREE HOURS MEANS THREE HOURS.Not three hours and fifteen minutes. Not tomorrow morning. Not
“Sir, bas 2 minutes aur.” 😭🙏
Your boss gave you a deadline, and you're expected to respect it.
And if you fail to complete the task without a valid reason or proper communication, well…
Congratulations, bro! 🎉 You've unlocked a brand-new level of corporate life:
THE BOSS'S SWEET WORDS. 💀😂
And trust me, those sweet words can sound something like:
“GDR, please come to my cabin for a minute.”
Bhai, bas. Yahin tak tha apna career. 😭⚰️
So, the point is simple: in our personal lives, we might get away with procrastination and excuses, but in business, effective communication means being clear, professional, responsible, and mindful of deadlines.
Because your boss might forgive a mistake…
BUT DON'T EXPECT HIM TO FORGET THE DEADLINE. 💀🔥
Exam Defination-
Business communication is the exchange of information, ideas, and instructions within or outside an organisation to achieve professional and organisational objectives.
## Importance of Business Communication
Although studying is very important, guys, some people start studying on the last day before an exam, while others start just a few hours before it. 📚💀
And who knows? You might be one of those people sitting there right now, watching this and thinking,
“Bro, I still have half the syllabus left!” 😭🙏
The exam is literally standing at your door, and you're here reading this nonsense. Absolutely incredible priorities, guys. 🗿🔥
But you know what? You and I both understand one thing very clearly: studying without a little nonsense is almost impossible. 😂 Our brains need some entertainment too, otherwise they'll also submit a resignation letter. 💀
So, let's continue with a little more bakaiti before returning to our
extremely serious academic responsibilities. Hehehehehe! 😈😂
Last time, we completely destroyed Harsh's reputation. The poor guy went from having a crush to becoming
Horse-Fire, the legendary loser. 😭🐎
But this time, let's spare Harsh and drag someone else into our educational experiment. 💀😂 The Story of Abhishek, Priya, and Shivank
Once upon a time, there was a guy named Abhishek who had a crush on a girl named Priya.
And yes, guys, Priya is such a common name that if you shout “Priya!” in a crowded college, at least five girls might turn around. 😭🙏
Anyway, Abhishek really liked Priya, but he was too shy to confess his feelings to her.
One day, he approached his friend Shivank and said:
Abhishek: “Bro, bro! Could you please do me a favour? 🥹🙏 Could you go and tell Priya how I feel about her? Tell her that I love her and that I have really strong feelings for her. I just can't tell her myself, bro. I'm too embarrassed!”
Basically, Abhishek had the feelings, Shivank had the responsibility, and Priya had absolutely NO IDEA that she was about to become the main character of this drama. 💀😂
Now, Shivank was a genuinely good friend. He was always helping people and never hesitated to help his buddies.
So, naturally, he agreed to help Abhishek.
He walked straight up to Priya and said:
Shivank: “Priya, I love you! ❤️ I have really strong feelings for you, and there's so much I want to tell you.”
And then…
Priya: “OH MY GOD! 😭❤️ I wanted to tell you the same thing! I've been wanting to talk to you about this for so long, but I was too shy. THANK GOD YOU FINALLY SAID IT!”
BROOOOOOO. WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! 💀💀💀
Priya accepted the confession, and Shivank stood there as if he had just completed the most successful mission of his life. 🗿🔥
Meanwhile, our innocent Abhishek came back and asked:
Abhishek: “Bro, bro! Did you tell her?”
Shivank: “Yeah, bro! I told her, and she agreed! We've even started planning our children's names!” 😭💀
Abhishek: “BRO?! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!”
Shivank: “You told me to say ‘I love you’ to her, didn't you?”
Abhishek: “BUT BRO… I TOLD YOU TO TELL HER THAT
I LOVE HER! NOT THAT
YOU LOVE HER!!!” 😭😭😭
Shivank: “Wait… WHAT?!”
Silence.Absolute silence.Somewhere in the background, Abhishek's soul left his body, filed a complaint, and permanently logged out. 💀⚰️
And Shivank? He went to help his friend and accidentally found himself a girlfriend. 😭🙏
MORAL OF THE STORY: Never outsource your love life to your friends without giving them proper instructions. 😂❤️🤔 So, what did we learn from this little story?
Communication is not just about sending a message or making sure that some words come out of your mouth.
The real questions are: Was the message communicated correctly? Did the receiver understand what the sender actually intended to say? And did the communication achieve its intended result? In our story, communication definitely happened. Shivank spoke to Priya, and Priya understood his words perfectly.
The problem? He communicated the WRONG MESSAGE on behalf of Abhishek. 💀
And that's exactly why effective communication is so important, especially in business.
Imagine a company asks its developer to create a payment page for its website.
The developer hears, “Bro, just make a payment page.” So, he makes one. Beautiful UI, smooth animations, professional design… everything looks amazing. 😎🔥
But there's just ONE tiny problem.
He forgot to add the UPI payment option. 💀
And somehow, things get even worse. Customers make payments, their money gets deducted, but their purchases aren't completed. 😭💸
Now imagine the developer saying:
“But sir, you only asked me to make a payment page. You never specifically told me to add UPI or verify whether the purchase was completed!” 🤡
BROOOOO. PACK YOUR BAGS. 💀
The page exists, yes. The developer completed the task he thought he was given, yes. But was the actual business goal achieved?
NOPE.The company wanted customers to pay successfully and complete their purchases. Merely creating a page wasn't enough.
This is why, in business communication, it's not enough to exchange information and then disappear into the sunset like a Bollywood hero. 🏃♂️💨
We need to make sure that:
The information is clear and accurate.
The receiver understands the intended message.
Proper coordination is maintained between team members.
Feedback is exchanged and doubts are clarified.
The actual goals and targets are achieved efficiently.
Because, guys, in business, saying
“I told him to do it” and actually making sure that the task is understood and completed are TWO VERY DIFFERENT THINGS. 😭🔥
And if communication fails, the consequences might not be limited to a broken friendship, like in Abhishek and Shivank's situation. It could mean lost customers, wasted money, missed deadlines, and a very unhappy boss. 💀📉Exam Definition — Importance of Business Communication
Business communication is important because it helps organisations share information, coordinate activities, make decisions, solve problems, maintain professional relationships, and achieve their goals efficiently.
## The Communication Process
Alright, guys! Ab aa gaye hain Business Communication ke ek aur important concept par:
THE COMMUNICATION PROCESS. 🤓📚
Naam sunke aisa lag raha hai jaise communication karne se pehle government se permission leni padegi, teen forms bharne padenge aur phir ek message bhejne ka approval milega. 😭🙏
But don't worry, bhai. Itna bhi complicated nahi hai. Let's understand it with a little corporate drama. Hehehehe! 😂
Imagine karo ki tum ek IT company mein developer ho. Tum apne code mein itne deeply involved ho ki tumhe duniya ki koi khabar nahi hai. Tumhara code chal raha hai, tum khush ho, aur tumhe lag raha hai ki aaj toh tumne Google ko bhi competition de diya. 😎🔥
Suddenly, your project manager discovers that the website server will go down for maintenance at 8 PM.
Ab manager ko poori team ko inform karna hai, warna koi developer 8:05 PM par production server par deployment karne pahunch jayega aur phir bolega, “Sir, website toh khul hi nahi rahi!” 💀
So, the manager creates a message, writes an email, sends it to the team, and the team members read and understand it.
Congratulations, guys! 🎉 You have just witnessed the
Communication Process.
Itna sab kuchh hua sirf ek email bhejne ke liye. Corporate duniya mein ek message bhejne ke liye bhi poori journey hoti hai, bhai. 😭😂📚 Definition for Your Notes
The communication process is a sequence of steps through which a sender creates and transmits a message to a receiver, who interprets the message and may provide feedback.Remember: Message Departure From Sender and reach receiver , Receiver understand it's meaning and send response when needed.
Basically, journey from
“I have something to say” to
“Okay, I understood what you meant.” 😂
| The Seven Elements of Communication 🎭 |
|---|
Sender |
Encoding |
Message |
Channel |
Receiver |
Decoding |
Feedback |
And then there's
NOISE, the uninvited guest who can ruin the entire communication process. 💀
Noise can interfere at any stage. Some textbooks list it separately as an element, so follow the classification used in your syllabus.
Let's understand every element with some corporate gossip. 😈1. Sender - The Person Who Starts the Drama 📢
The sender is the person who initiates communication by creating and sending a message.
In simple words, the sender is the person who starts talking, writing, or sending information.
Example:Your teacher enters the classroom and announces:
“Students, submit your assignments by Friday.”
And suddenly, the entire class wakes up from its peaceful slumber. 😭
One student starts calculating how many pages can be completed in one night. Another opens ChatGPT. And someone in the last row is still asking, “Sir, which assignment?” 💀🙏
In this situation,
the teacher is the sender because the teacher initiated the communication.
Definition for your notes:The sender is the person who initiates communication by creating and sending a message.2. Encoding - Converting Thoughts into Words 🧠➡️💬
Encoding is the process of converting ideas or thoughts into words, symbols, or gestures to create a message.
Basically, you have something in your mind, and now you need to convert it into a form that another person can understand.
Imagine your project manager has an idea in his mind:
“I need to postpone today's meeting because I have another meeting, three pending reports, and approximately 47 problems in my life.” 😭💀
But obviously, he can't send the team his entire emotional breakdown.
Instead, he writes:
“Today's meeting has been postponed to 3 PM.”
And there you go! His idea has been converted into words.
That process is called encoding.Definition for your notes:Encoding is the process of converting ideas or thoughts into words, symbols, or gestures to create a message.
3. Message - The Actual Information 📩
The message is the information, idea, instruction, or feeling that the sender wants to communicate to the receiver.
In simple words, it's the actual thing you want to tell someone.
For example, your manager sends this email:
“Today's meeting will begin at 3 PM instead of 2 PM.”
Now, the message is that
the meeting has been rescheduled to 3 PM.
Not the manager's signature. Not the email subject. Not the motivational quote in his email footer.
Just the information he wants the team to know. 😂
And imagine if someone reads the email and says, “Sir, nice signature!” without noticing the new meeting time. 💀
Bro acknowledged the decoration but missed the information. What a legend. 😭🙏
Definition for your notes:A message is the information, idea, instruction, or feeling that the sender wants to communicate to the receiver.4. Channel - The Road Your Message Travels On 🛣️📱
A channel is the medium through which a message is transmitted from the sender to the receiver.
Think of it as the road your message uses to reach its destination.
You can send a message through email, telephone, WhatsApp, video calls, or face-to-face conversations.
Imagine your manager needs to inform the entire team that the server will be unavailable at 8 PM.
He has several options:
Send an email.
Post a message in the official team group.
Call everyone individually.
Announce it during a meeting.
All these are communication channels.
Now imagine the manager chooses to stand outside the office, shout the message into the air, and hope that everyone somehow hears it. 💀🌬️
Meanwhile, half the team is working from home, two employees are wearing headphones, and one guy is sleeping.
Congratulations, sir! You have successfully communicated with the atmosphere. 😭😂
The lesson? Choosing an appropriate channel matters.
Definition for your notes:A channel is the medium through which a message is transmitted from the sender to the receiver.5. Receiver - The Person Who Gets the Message 👂📨
The receiver is the person or group for whom the message is intended and who receives it.
Basically, if the sender is the person speaking, the receiver is the person the message is directed towards.
For example, your teacher announces:
“Everyone must submit the assignment by Friday.”
The students who receive this instruction are the receivers.
Now imagine one student is sitting in the front row, nodding confidently, while mentally planning what to eat after class. 😭🍕
The teacher finishes the announcement.
The student turns to his friend and whispers:
“Bhai, assignment kab submit karna hai?”
Sir: Dhayan Kidhar hai, hamesa dekhta hu tum phone use karte ho haste rahte ho class me, hasna is good but what's so funny always, i also want to know.
BRO WAS PHYSICALLY PRESENT BUT MENTALLY ON ANOTHER PLANET. 💀🪐
The student was an intended receiver, but that doesn't automatically mean he paid attention to or understood the message.
Definition for your notes:The receiver is the person or group for whom the message is intended and who receives it.6. Decoding - Understanding What the Message Means 🧠💡
Decoding is the process through which the receiver interprets and understands the message.
Receiving a message and understanding it correctly are two different things, guys.
For example, your manager sends an email:
“Please submit the report by 5 PM.”
An employee reads the email and understands that the report must be submitted before the deadline.
That is decoding.
But now imagine another employee reads the same email and thinks:
“5 PM? Great! I'll START working on the report at 5 PM.” 💀😭
BRO, THAT IS THE DEADLINE, NOT YOUR STARTING TIME! 😭🙏
The message was received, but the employee interpreted it incorrectly.
This is why clear communication matters. Even when the words are correct, the receiver might understand them differently from what the sender intended.
Definition for your notes:Decoding is the process through which the receiver interprets and understands the message.
7. Feedback - The Receiver's Response 🔁💬
Feedback is the response given by the receiver to indicate how the message has been received or understood.
In simple words, feedback tells the sender what happened after the message was delivered.
Let's return to our favourite project manager.
Manager: “Please submit the report by 5 PM.”
Employee: “Understood, sir. I'll submit it by 4:30 PM.”
The employee has responded to the manager's instruction. That response is feedback.
Now imagine the manager sends an important email to the entire team.
Three hours pass.
No replies.
Four hours pass.
Still nothing.
The manager starts wondering whether the team has read the email, understood it, or collectively decided to disappear from the face of the Earth. 💀🌍
Then one employee finally replies:
“Noted, sir.”
And the manager can finally breathe again. 😭🙏
Feedback helps the sender understand how the message was received. It may also reveal confusion, disagreement, or the need for clarification.
Feedback doesn't always have to be verbal. A relevant written reply, acknowledgement, or observable action can also provide feedback.
Definition for your notes:Feedback is the response given by the receiver to indicate how the message has been received or understood.
## Thoda bakwas Bonus(Noise)
Noise is anything that interferes with the communication process and makes the message difficult to send, receive, or understand.
For example, your manager is explaining an important task during a meeting, but someone nearby is drilling a wall.
DRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! 🔨😭
The manager is speaking, but nobody can hear him properly.
That's physical noise.
## How can miscommunication occur?
I used to watch
Baalveer on my black-and-white television, and they used to announce that Baalveer would come on TV at 8 PM in the evening. 📺😭
And as a child, I used to wonder:
“Wait a minute… isn't 8 PM NIGHT? Why are they calling it evening?” 💀🌚
Somehow, I grew up believing that 8 PM was still evening. Don't ask me how. My brain downloaded that information and never bothered to check for updates. 🗿😂
Now, fast-forward to college.
One day, our professor posted a message in the group:
Professor: “Everyone must submit their PDF notes on the Classroom website by tonight. I'll check all the submissions today, and this is the deadline.”
Now, guys, in my mind, the logic was absolutely flawless. 🤓🔥
I thought,
“Okay, so 8 PM is evening. If 8 PM is evening, then maybe evening continues until 10 PM. And if evening continues until 10 PM, then 12 AM to 2 AM must be night. So technically, 3 AM should still be acceptable, right?” 😭🙏
BRO, LOOK AT THE LEVEL OF RESEARCH I CONDUCTED BEFORE IGNORING MY PROFESSOR'S INSTRUCTIONS. 💀
I didn't even Google it. I simply trusted the PhD in Time Management that I had awarded myself. 🤡🎓
So, I casually decided that I would submit my notes at 3 AM.
And guess what?
I SUBMITTED THEM AT 3:30 AM. 😭😭😭
Meanwhile, everyone else had submitted their notes before 7 PM.
Everyone was sleeping peacefully, dreaming about their future, their careers, and their beautiful lives.
And then there was me, sitting in front of my screen at 3:30 AM, proudly uploading my PDF as if I had just completed a NASA mission. 🚀💀
I genuinely thought I was doing everything correctly.
Then, somewhere in the universe, my professor probably opened the submission list and saw my name.
Professor: “Beta, aapka is dharti pe rehne ka maqsad kya hai?” 😭🙏💀
Translation: “My child, what exactly is your purpose on this planet?”
BRO, I WASN'T EVEN LATE ACCORDING TO MY OWN TIME ZONE. 😂🌚
Unfortunately, my professor was operating on
Earth Standard Time, while I was operating on
GDR Standard Time. 🗿⌚
And apparently, my time zone hasn't been recognised by any country yet. 💀🤔 So, what exactly happened here?
Guys, let's analyse this disaster academically before my professor files a missing-person report for my common sense. 😭📚
My professor wanted everyone to submit their notes before the deadline. His message was intended to communicate that the submissions were due that night.
But I interpreted the words “by tonight” according to my own understanding of evening and night.
I assumed that submitting the notes at 3:30 AM would still be acceptable.
The professor's intended meaning and my interpretation were different. That's how miscommunication can occur.📚 Definition for Your Notes
Miscommunication is a situation in which a message is not understood correctly or is interpreted differently from what the sender intended, resulting in confusion, misunderstanding, or an incorrect response. In simple words, the sender says one thing, but the receiver understands something different.
And sometimes, the receiver is so confident in their interpretation that they don't even realise they've misunderstood the message. 💀😂🧠 Why did miscommunication happen in my story?
Lack of knowledge: I didn't properly understand the conventional meaning of evening, night, and the deadline.
Wrong interpretation: I interpreted “by tonight” as permission to submit during the early hours of the next morning.
Assumptions: Instead of clarifying the deadline, I assumed my interpretation was correct.
Lack of clarification: I never asked the professor for an exact submission time.
Notice something important, guys: the professor's message might have been clear enough in the college context. The misunderstanding happened because I interpreted it incorrectly.
So, we cannot automatically blame the sender every time miscommunication occurs.
Sometimes the sender's message is unclear. Sometimes the receiver lacks knowledge. Sometimes assumptions, distractions, language differences, or noise create confusion.
The key lesson is that the same message can be interpreted differently by different people, especially when they lack relevant knowledge or make assumptions. And if you're unsure about a deadline, just ask for clarification.
Because your professor might accept a genuine question…
BUT YOUR PERSONAL TIME ZONE IS NOT A VALID EXTENSION REQUEST. 😭💀
## Communication Cycle
☕ OHHH WAIT… I've Got MORE CHAI for You Guys! 💀😂
You better grab your snacks because today's gossip is coming straight from our classroom.
So, one day, our professor was teaching us about
drivers in computer systems.
And honestly, the professor was teaching REALLY well. He explained what a driver is, how it works, how it helps hardware communicate with software, and how it allows devices like Wi-Fi adapters, printers, and other hardware to function properly.
He even explained that drivers contain low-level instructions that help the operating system communicate with hardware. Basically, they're the translators between the operating system and the hardware. 🤓💻
Everything was going smoothly. Students were understanding the concept, the professor was happy, and for once, the classroom actually looked like a place of education. 😭🙏
Then, after explaining everything, the professor asked the class:
Professor: “So, guys, did everyone understand how drivers work?”
Now, guys, that was a very simple question. The professor wasn't asking for the meaning of life. He wasn't asking us to explain quantum physics. He simply wanted to know whether we'd understood the topic.
Basically, he was asking for
FEEDBACK. 🔁
And then…
Our very own
greatest student of the century, Priya, raised her hand. 😭🏆
Everyone probably thought, “Wow, look at her! Such an attentive student. She must have a very intelligent question.”
Priya stood up and asked:
Priya: “Sir, so… where can we find this driver in Google Drive?” 💀💀💀
BROOOOOOOOOOO. 😭😭😭
GOOGLE DRIVE?!
MA'AM, THE PROFESSOR WAS EXPLAINING HARDWARE DRIVERS, NOT GOOGLE DRIVE! 😭🙏
One driver helps your operating system communicate with hardware. The other is where you upload your assignments, PDFs, and 47 versions of the same file named
final_final_REAL_final.pdf. 💀📂
Priya somehow heard the word
driver and immediately opened Google Drive in her mind. Her brain connected two completely different things and said, “Yep, that makes sense.” 🤡
Meanwhile, our professor stood there questioning every career decision he had ever made.
Professor: “I failed as a professor. I guess I should resign… I should probably leave teaching forever.” 😭💀
Long pause.Professor: “Okay, beta. Let me explain this to you again.”
SIRRRR! 😭🙏
The man had explained hardware drivers, binary instructions, and how software communicates with hardware.
And now he had to explain the difference between a
device driver and
Google Drive.
Bro started the class as a computer science professor and ended it as a career counsellor for himself. 💀😂
But jokes aside, guys, let's understand what actually happened here.🤔 What does this story teach us?
The professor asked the students whether they understood the topic. His purpose was to receive feedback and check whether his explanation had been effective.
However, Priya's response revealed that she had misunderstood the concept.
The professor had communicated the information, but the receiver had interpreted it incorrectly.
And that's where we connect this story to our next concept:
THE COMMUNICATION CYCLE. 🔁📢
Communication isn't always a one-time activity where one person speaks and everyone magically understands. It often continues through responses, clarification, and further feedback.
The professor explains something, the students respond, the professor checks their understanding, and if necessary, he explains it again.
That ongoing exchange helps improve understanding.📚 Exam Definition — Communication Cycle
The communication cycle is the continuous exchange of messages and feedback between a sender and a receiver, allowing communication to continue and understanding to be clarified.Remember, guys: effective communication isn't just about delivering information. It's also about checking whether the information has been understood correctly.
Because sometimes, the teacher explains the entire chapter…
AND THE STUDENT IS STILL SEARCHING FOR IT IN GOOGLE DRIVE. 😭☕💀
