Well, you might be thinking that what is new in this?
Management means to just manage, right?
But it it's more broader than we think.
Definition:
Management is art of getting things done by others with main objective of achieving organisational objectives effectively and efficiently.
Consumed some random words, but samaj me aaya ghanta 😕
Let me explain through an example🧠:
Imagine this, you are asked to organise an event. Where You have limited resources like only 100 rs If you are garib like me. You are given a fixed time period to make preparation.
Now, you are not going to do every thing alone, your fellow friends have to perform some duties as well.
As a manager, your task is to complete the preparation within the given time period, & ensure that your 100 rs Are fully utilised without making any wastage.
Basically, you need to ensure that all work is being done in a proper manner.
Hey wait, what about those fellow friends?
Well as a manager your task is to get the work completed by them.
Yeah I know that if you become their real manager they will still not do it. Sad.
Key words:
Effectiveness: doing the right tasks and achieving goals at time.
Efficiency: doing the task correctly with optimum utilisation of resources.
Features:
Goal oriented process:
Always aim to achieve the organisation objective.
Eg: if a school wants to increase the number of students who pass, so the management will focus on implementing this objective.
Continuous process:
Ongoing process which is performed simultaneously.
It is just like how you put continuous efforts for her 😀 vo alag bat hai that you get no results ðŸ˜.
Koina
Multi dimensional:
Complex activities with multiple dimensions.
1. Management of work.
2. Management of people.
3. Management of operations.
It is basically what should I do that she accept me.
Who is going to help me in this.
How should I execute my plan.
Jokes apart😀
Management of work means to identify what to be done to achieve the organisation objective.
Management of people means who is going to perform particular tasks.
And management of operation means to combine both management of work and people and figure out how the work is to be done.
Dynamic function: organisation interact with our changing external environment and adapt it to the changing environment.
Dynamic means changing. Khair koi aur bhi change hua tha na🤧
When the market and its trends keep on changing the organisation has to adapt according to the changes in order to sustain their business.
Group activity:
Requires teamwork and coordination.
All the members of the organisation must work in a team and co-ordinate with each other to fullfill the objective.
Just imagine your free fire team co-ordinating to win another game.
Intangible force:
Cannot be seen but felt.
The impact of management cannot be seen but it is felt when the organisation progresses.
Like everyone was able to see your efforts but she was not able to feel them💔
So today is gyan end here.
We will continue with the next topic in the next part.
Till then keep enjoying.
