As I sit here, reflecting on my journey as an IIT aspirant, I'm filled with a mix of emotions - frustration, disappointment, and a glimmer of hope. Growing up in Motihari, Bihar, I always dreamed of cracking the IIT-JEE and making my family proud. But, little did I know, the path to success would be paved with challenges that would test my resolve and resilience.
I left my hometown, eager to pursue my dreams in Patna, a city teeming with aspiring students like me. I enrolled in a coaching institute, hoping to learn from the best faculty and surround myself with like-minded individuals. But, reality hit hard. The faculty was subpar, and I struggled to grasp concepts. Despite my best efforts, I felt lost and demotivated.
The financial burden was crushing. My family had invested Rs. 2 lakhs in my coaching, a significant amount for us. The weight of expectations from my family, relatives, and friends was suffocating. Everyone believed in me, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was letting them down.
The days turned into weeks, and the weeks into months. I continued to struggle, feeling like I was drowning in a sea of uncertainty. The pressure to perform mounted, and I began to doubt my abilities. Would I ever make it to IIT? Was I good enough?
Despite the setbacks, I refused to give up. I picked myself up, dusted myself off, and kept moving forward. I realized that failure is not the end; it's a stepping stone to success. I'm still on this journey, and I'm determined to make the most of it.
To all the IIT aspirants out there, I want to say that you're not alone. We're all in this together, navigating the ups and downs of this rollercoaster ride. Don't be disheartened by setbacks; instead, learn from them and keep pushing forward.
As for me, I'll continue to work hard, fueled by the fire of determination. I'll make my family proud, not just by cracking the IIT-JEE, but by giving it my all and emerging stronger, wiser, and more resilient.
